Associate Project Officer (Research Monitoring) – Paris

Required Qualifications


•    Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in education, development studies, economics, sociology, social policy, or other related social science discipline.
•    At least two years of professional experience as a researcher and/or analyst working on regional or global education issues.
•    Experience with African education systems and specific regional challenges is an asset.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced University Degree (master’s or equivalent) in Basic Sciences, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible and relevant professional experience in the field of basic sciences, engineering and technology-related fields,
  • A minimum of three years of experience acquired at the international level.
  • Proven experience in planning, developing, implementing, managing, coordinating, and evaluating science programmes,
  • Experience in resource mobilization,
  • Experience in leading and managing teams of professionals/experts in a multicultural work environment.

  • Proven experience of coordination, management, implementation and monitoring of sciences/science policy programmes (regional or international).

  • Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in Economics or Statistics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant profession experience in the fields of sector analysis, planning and management of education systems, of which preferably two (2) years acquired at international level.
  • Professionalexperience with African countries’ education ministries and development partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in data science, economics, statistics, or any related field.
  • Additional training in database management is an asset
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in data management of which preferably one (1) year acquired at international level.
  • Good knowledge of the UN system and prior relevant experience in a UN fund, programme, or specialized agency, including UNESCO
  • Experience with complex and large datasets, as well as standardization of data
  • Relevant experience in project management.
  • Experience with SharePoint and/or Salesforce-based applications

  • Experience in the elaboration and management of programmes/projects in the field of culture.

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Communication, Public Relations, Social Sciences, International Relations or a related field.

  • Proven experience in managing communications campaigns and related fields of press relations, digital communications and public relations.
  • Background in advocacy and outreach.
